THE PROCESS
The pattern is obtained by pressing a real avocado leaf into soft stoneware clay.
The unique surface is created using a mix of glaze, oxides and bits of crushed/recycled glass that melts in the kiln and gives a light-catching, crystalline finish.
The process involves two overnight firing up to 1220º C.
