Ceramic avocado leaf incence burner

​Decorative incense stick holder with unique fused glass crakled crystal finish.

​SIZE 18 x 5.5 cm approx. 

​Each item is individually hand-formed from white stoneware clay. 
​The pattern is obtained by pressing a real avocado leaf into soft clay.
​The unique surface is created using a mix of glaze, oxides and bits of crushed/recycled glass that melts in the kiln and gives a light-catching, crystalline finish. The process involves two overnight firing up to 1240º C.
