Join us for this exciting workshop giving you a glimpse into ceramic hand-building and surface decoration!
No previous experience is needed.
In this session, you will:
- - Learn to roll a slab of clay and decorate the surface using stencils and imprinting.
- - Learn how to use plaster moulds and cylinder cores to shape your slab into vessels.
- - Create two unique items: a mug and a plate (or a bowl), perfect for your morning coffee and toast or cereals! They also make a thoughtful personalised gift!
All materials and tools will be provided and firings are included.
This is a single-session workshop and your creations will need to dry and be fired. They will be ready for collection in 3 to 4 weeks after the workshop.
Your items will have a transparent, food-safe glaze finish applied by your instructor before the second firing.
